I’m not going to go in to getting a new motherboards and processors. As with most the older IBM and others the lay
out of cases and motherboards will not take the newer motherboards.
Well I did tell you at the begin I had a another option that’s if you still don’t want to upgrade.Lets see
you have a keyboard, monitor and a mouse, why not just get a new Tower with a faster processor.Your thinking that a new towers
going to cost me $600.00 to a $1000.00 only if your thinking new towers.
Lets talk discontinued, refurbished, overstock and open box, and don’t think your buying used it’s not the
same. And in my book theirs only one place to look and I can say it in two words Tiger Direct !
If they don’t have something for you, maybe you don’t need it. I can’t even tell you everything they
have I’d be here for a year. All there refurbished Computers come with full manufacturers warranty and they have extended
service plan options on all there Computers to.
How about discontinued computers, ever think about ware all the computers go that they can’t sell or made to many
of I’ll tell you Tiger Direct. There’s nothing wrong with these computers the big boys just want to sell the new
ones they came out with, that they can get a lot of money for. Way not someone’s got the money but it’s not me.

And just so you know processor speeds doubles every 18 months so no one will ever keep up. So save some money and make
your money go further and upgrade that older computer !
