The older Dell, HP, Compaq, and IBM systems as well as white box systems which have an Intel Pentium II or III Processor
from 350MHz to 800MHz.They will be seated in a slot 1, slot 2, Socket 370 or Socket 423 and they do not make new Processor
for these anymore. Your thinking oh GOD! I have to get a new motherboard ! No that’s not the case. PowerLeap has come
up with Processor Upgrades and Adapters to over come this problem .How about one that takes your 500MHz Slot 1 PC up to 1.4GHz.or
your 1.3GHz Socket 423 up to 3GHz.Yes I said 3GHz. Well see I told you there was hope for that old computer. As for the cost
how about $119 for 1.4GHz to a little over $300 for the 3GHz and no new motherboard needed WOW! And also included in that
price they throw in a cooling fan for the new processor and everything needed to install. For about $200 you can get a CPU
upgrade with Windows XP Home Edition. PowerLeap also has an online video to show you how to install the new processor, and
all done in about 10 minutes. And there are also upgrades for Socket 5 and 7and soon for Socket A. They will need some information
about your computer, things like front side bus speed, Processor, BIOS and so on. Now your thinking oh this is where it gets
hard I don’t know that stuff!
Well guess what? It’s not hard. PowerLeap has a way to check all that online with InSPECS 2.0., or you can download
a processor utility called CPUID. I know, "what is CPUID and InSPECS 2.0" it’s is a program that with just one click
of the mouse will tell you the chip set, motherboard and if your system is a slot 1, slot 2, socket 370 or socket 423 and
other things. This way they know, and you know that you are purchasing just the right upgrade for your computer, How Cool
Is That! Well that’s about it for the Processor upgrades, Oh you want to know where to get one.
I spent way too much time on the web looking for this information to tell you that. JUST KIDDING!
There are a few out there "But the only one I would use is PowerLeap they are the best in Processor Upgrades" Go on the
Internet and check out … PowerLeap.com.
Make sure you read my review of the PowerLeap PL-ip3/T it’s the one I put in my computer. Thanks to the nice
